Le ultime ere discografiche di Britney Spears e Lady Gaga sembrerebbero essere passate inosservate dato che oltre agli MTV Video Music Awards (qua la lista delle nomination), sono state altamente snobbate anche ai Teen Choice Awards.
Quattro nomine per Iggy Azalea, la rapper rivelazione, quattro per le Fifth Harmony, tre per Ariana Grande, la nuova popparola che stanno cercando di lanciare,  tre anche per Demi Lovato, due per Katy Perry e Nicki Minaj ed una per Beyoncé.
